The PlayStation official account has revealed that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II) recorded the largest launch in the series in the PlayStation Store.

This record is the sum of the reservation order and the number of units sold on the first day. Although the specific numbers are not clear, the Call of Duty series, which has a long history, seems to be the best start in PS Store history.

This strong sales won the first place not only in the PlayStation version, but also in the top sales of Steam and the best-selling Xbox rankings. Despite being a full price product of $70 (9,680 yen in Japan), it can be said that both platforms are popular.
