National soccer player Lena Lattwein has extended her contract with master VfL Wolfsburg prematurely.

The 22-year-old is now bound to the club until June 30, 2025, her original contract was running until 2024.
“Lena played a strong first season with us and more than fulfilled the expectations, as not least underlining her operational times in a central position,” said Wolfsburging director Ralf Kellermann.

“She has developed again with us and did not arrive at the end of her path at the end of her.”
Lattwein switched from Ligarival TSG Hoffenheim to VW city last summer.
Across competitions she was used 35 times for the wolf and scored eight goals.
Before Lattwein, Sveindis Jonsdottir, Felicitas Rauch and Tabea Waßmuth had already extended their contracts at VfL prematurely until 2025.
